Naseeb App LLC ("Naseeb," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use the Naseeb mobile application, website, and related products and services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are

Naseeb App LLC operates Naseeb, a marriage-focused platform for Muslim adults. For purposes of applicable privacy laws, Naseeb App LLC is the entity responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy, except where another organization independently determines how it handles information provided directly to it, such as an independent coaching provider.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, information generated when you use the Services, and limited information from service providers or other users where appropriate.

2.1 Account and Contact Information

When you create or maintain an account, we may collect:

• Name and basic account details.
• Email address.
• Phone number.
• Authentication and verification information, including one-time passcode activity.
• Account status and settings.

2.2 Profile and Matchmaking Information

Because Naseeb is designed to help users evaluate potential spouses, profiles may contain information you choose to provide about yourself, including:

• Age, gender, city or general location, occupation, education, and photos.
• Marriage intentions, readiness, timeline, and relationship preferences.
• Religious practices, values, and preferences.
• Family expectations, lifestyle preferences, deal breakers, and similar compatibility information.
• Family roots, heritage, or other background information you choose to provide.
• Other profile answers, written descriptions, or preferences you submit.

Some of this information may be considered sensitive personal information under certain laws, including information that may reveal religious beliefs or other sensitive characteristics. We use this information to provide the features you request, including profile display, discovery, matching, compatibility, safety, and account administration. We do not use sensitive profile information for unrelated third-party advertising.

2.3 Photos, Selfies, and Verification Information

Naseeb uses verification measures to help reduce impersonation, fake accounts, and misuse. These measures may include phone verification, selfie verification, liveness checks, profile review, and related fraud-prevention signals.

Liveness checks are designed to confirm that a real person is present during verification. Based on our current implementation, liveness processing occurs on the user's device and may ask the user to perform movements such as turning their head, blinking, or smiling. The liveness process does not create or store a biometric template, and video or facial data from the liveness test is not intended to leave the device.

After liveness verification, we may ask you to submit a selfie. The verification selfie may be compared with photos submitted to your profile using third-party verification technology that returns comparison results to Naseeb. The verification selfie is not displayed publicly and may be reviewed by authorized personnel when reasonably necessary for verification, safety, fraud prevention, support, or enforcement purposes. We do not promise that verification information will be reviewed by personnel of any particular gender.

We retain the verification selfie while your account remains active. After account deletion, verification information is handled in accordance with the Account Deletion and Data Retention section below. Liveness data processed only on-device is not retained by Naseeb.

2.4 Location Information

If you allow location access, the Services may collect and store precise location information from your device to support discovery, matching, distance calculations, safety, and other location-based features. The type of location data available to us depends on your device settings and permissions.

We do not display your precise device coordinates publicly or to other users. We may display a city, general area, or distance-related information instead. You can control device-level location permissions through your operating system settings, although disabling location may limit certain features.

2.5 Messages, Calls, Reports, and Other Communications

When you use messaging, reporting, support, or other communication features, we may store and process the content and related information necessary to provide the feature, maintain safety, moderate the Services, investigate reports, respond to support requests, or enforce our Terms.

Naseeb may provide in-app audio and video calling so users can communicate without sharing personal phone numbers. When you use these features, we may process technical and usage information such as the participants in the call, timestamps, duration, call status, device information, IP address, network information, and diagnostic data needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, or improve calling functionality.

Naseeb may use technical measures designed to prevent or restrict screenshots and screen recordings within the app. These measures are intended to help protect user privacy, but we cannot guarantee that another person will be unable to capture, copy, photograph, or otherwise reproduce content displayed on their device. If you report another user, we may collect the report, the reason selected, supporting information you provide, relevant account information, and other information reasonably necessary to review the report and protect the community.

2.6 Usage, Device, and Technical Information

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect technical and usage information such as:

• IP address and approximate network location.
• Device type, operating system, app version, identifiers, and language settings.
• Login times, session duration, pages or screens viewed, feature usage, and interactions with the Services.
• Crash reports, diagnostics, performance logs, and security events.
• Fraud-prevention, moderation, and account-integrity signals.

2.7 Coaching and Marriage-Related Services

Naseeb may make independent nonprofit organizations, coaches, or other third-party providers accessible through the Services. If you choose to request or book coaching, we may process or share the limited information necessary to facilitate that request, such as your name, contact information, selected provider, scheduling details, and other information you choose to provide for the service.

Coaching providers are independent from Naseeb and may have their own privacy practices for information they collect directly from you. We may share basic information such as your name, email address, phone number, and booking details when necessary to facilitate a coaching request. Coaching providers do not provide coaching notes or session information back to Naseeb as part of the ordinary coaching process. Naseeb App LLC does not receive coaching fees or a share of coaching revenue.

2.8 Support and Other Information You Provide

If you contact support, participate in a survey, submit a complaint, communicate with us, or otherwise provide information directly to Naseeb, we may collect the content of those communications and related account information.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

• Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure accounts.
• Provide profiles, discovery, matching, compatibility, messaging, and calling features.
• Verify users and reduce fake accounts, impersonation, abuse, scams, and fraud.
• Personalize recommendations and the user experience based on information and preferences you provide.
• Operate reporting, blocking, moderation, appeals, and community-safety processes.
• Respond to support requests and communicate service-related information.
• Provide security alerts, authentication messages, and important account notices.
• Facilitate optional coaching or marriage-related services you request.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Services.
• Develop new features and understand how users interact with the Services.
• Detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to fraud, abuse, violations of our Terms, security incidents, and unlawful activity.
• Comply with legal obligations, valid legal process, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and protect the rights, property, or safety of Naseeb, our users, or others.

4. SMS and Other Communications

We use phone numbers for verification, authentication, account security, and important service communications. We may send one-time passcodes, security alerts, or operational notices by SMS or similar channels. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not treat a phone number provided for authentication as consent to receive unrelated marketing text messages where separate consent is required by law.

We may also communicate through email, push notifications, in-app notices, or other channels. You may control certain optional communications through the available account or device settings.

5. How We Disclose Personal Information

We do not sell or rent personal information for money. We may disclose personal information in the circumstances described below.

5.1 Other Naseeb Users

Information you choose to include in your profile may be displayed to other eligible Naseeb users as part of the Services. The visibility of particular information may depend on product settings and features.

5.2 Service Providers

We use service providers to help operate the Services. Depending on the service, these providers may process information on our behalf for functions such as:

• Cloud hosting, storage, and infrastructure.
• SMS, authentication, and communications.
• Image comparison and verification services.
• Analytics, attribution, conversion measurement, diagnostics, and performance monitoring.
• Customer support, security, fraud prevention, and moderation tools.
• Payment processing for optional paid services, where applicable.

We use third-party analytics, diagnostics, and advertising measurement providers to understand app usage, measure advertising effectiveness, attribute installs or conversions, and improve campaign performance. These providers may receive device identifiers, IP address, app activity, conversion events, and similar technical information. We do not use sensitive profile information for unrelated third-party advertising.

5.3 Independent Coaching Providers

If you request coaching or a similar third-party service, we may share information reasonably necessary to facilitate the service. The provider may independently collect additional information from you and is responsible for its own privacy practices for that information.

5.4 Legal Process, Safety, and Enforcement

We may preserve, access, or disclose personal information when we reasonably believe doing so is required or permitted by applicable law, including in response to valid legal process or governmental requests.

We may also preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security threats, illegal activity, or violations of our Terms; protect the rights, property, or safety of Naseeb, our users, or others; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

5.5 Corporate Transactions

If Naseeb is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

6. Sensitive Personal Information

Naseeb is a Muslim marriage platform, and information users voluntarily provide may reveal religious beliefs, practices, family background, heritage, or other information treated as sensitive under certain privacy laws.

We process sensitive information when necessary to provide the Services you request, including profile display, matchmaking, compatibility, verification, safety, and related features. We do not use sensitive personal information for unrelated third-party advertising, and we do not disclose it except as described in this Privacy Policy or as required or permitted by law.

Where applicable law requires consent for certain sensitive-data processing, we will request that consent or provide other legally required controls.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining account and community safety, preventing fraud, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why we need it.

• Account and profile information is generally retained while your account remains active.
• Verification selfies are retained while the account remains active and are handled after account deletion in accordance with the section below.
• On-device liveness data is not retained by Naseeb when it is processed only on the device.
• We may retain limited information about accounts that are suspended, banned, or otherwise restricted where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, repeat violations, or attempts to circumvent enforcement actions.
• Technical logs, diagnostics, moderation records, reports, security information, and other records may be retained for periods reasonably necessary for operational, safety, security, legal, or enforcement purposes.
• Information subject to a valid preservation request, legal hold, dispute, or regulatory requirement may be retained for the period required or permitted by law.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, de-identify, aggregate, or otherwise dispose of it in accordance with our practices and applicable law.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your Naseeb account at any time through the Services.

When you delete your account, your profile will no longer be visible to other users. We may delete, de-identify, or retain certain information as permitted or required by law, including for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of our Terms, legal compliance, and other legitimate business purposes.

Some information you previously shared with other users, such as messages, may remain available to those users after your account is deleted. We may also retain de-identified or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably be linked to you.

9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding personal information:

• Access or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete certain personal information.
• Receive certain information in a portable format.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling where applicable law provides such rights.
• Appeal a decision we make regarding a privacy request where applicable law provides an appeal right.

You may also update certain account and profile information directly through the Services and control device permissions such as location, camera, microphone, and notifications through your device settings.

To exercise a privacy right that is not available directly in the Services, contact us using the information in Section 18. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.

10. U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under state law. Depending on the law and how it applies to Naseeb, these rights may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and the ability to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling.

Naseeb does not sell personal information for money. We may use third-party providers for analytics, attribution, conversion measurement, and advertising measurement as described in this Privacy Policy. Depending on applicable law and how those providers process information, certain disclosures may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or use for targeted advertising, even when no money is exchanged. Where required by law, we provide applicable notices and choices to opt out.

We may process sensitive personal information, including information that may reveal religious beliefs or other sensitive characteristics, only as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, for permitted safety and security purposes, with consent where required, or as otherwise permitted by law.

11. International Users and Data Transfers

Naseeb App LLC is a United States company, and personal information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have privacy laws that differ from the laws where you live.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use appropriate legal mechanisms or other protections required by law.

12. EEA, United Kingdom, and Similar Privacy Rights

If privacy laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply to our processing, our legal bases may include:

• Performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide Services you request.
• Legitimate interests, such as maintaining service security, preventing fraud and abuse, improving the Services, and protecting users, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Consent, where required, including for certain sensitive information or device permissions.
• Compliance with legal obligations.
• Protection of vital interests or establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims where applicable.

Where these laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with an appropriate data protection authority. Some rights are subject to legal limitations and exceptions.

13. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit where appropriate, monitoring, and security procedures.

No system, transmission method, or storage technology is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Children's Privacy

Naseeb is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts or knowingly collect personal information from children through the Services.

If we learn that a person under 18 has provided personal information through an account, we may suspend or terminate the account and delete information as appropriate, subject to legal or safety requirements.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that Naseeb does not control. This Privacy Policy does not govern the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information to them.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, privacy practices, technology, legal requirements, or business operations.

When we make changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on our website or through the Services and update the “Last Updated” date at the top of the policy. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, or if applicable law requires additional notice or consent, we may notify you through the app, email, or another appropriate method.

17. Relationship to the Terms of Service

This Privacy Policy explains how Naseeb handles personal information. Our Terms of Service govern use of the Services more broadly, including account eligibility, user conduct, moderation, suspension, termination, dispute resolution, and other legal terms. If there is a conflict regarding privacy practices, applicable privacy law will control to the extent required.
